Andrew Hansen

CEO

IT executive with over 30 years of experience, including management of mid to large size organizations, corporate development, business operations, and strategy. Current CEO and Managing Director at Hansen Technologies Limited.

Andrew joined Hansen Technologies in 1990, and quickly began to transform the business and then ASX listed the company in 2000. Andrew’s IT expertise combined with his strong business acumen has built a diversified global company delivering market leading billing and customer care solutions in over 80 countries.

Andrew leads the strategic direction of the business with a dedicated and diverse team of over 1500 industry experts delivering solutions to some of the globe’s leading companies. Hansen’s Create-Deliver-Engage product suite is now used by over 500 substantial companies worldwide.

Graeme Taylor

CFO

Graeme Taylor comes to Hansen with over 30 years’ experience in both Operations and Finance. With a Finance Degree and post graduate qualifications, Graeme has earned the title of CPA. He has worked throughout the Oceania Region, USA and Europe and has significant experience developing International reporting and management systems. His strong commercial knowledge brings a unique approach to his role as CFO.

Julia Chand

General Counsel and Company Secretary

Julia Chand joined Hansen Technologies in 2007 and plays a strategic role as General Counsel as well as Company Secretary. Julia has significant legal experience in IT, financial services and retail organizations. As General Counsel, she is responsible for all legal aspects of Hansen’s global operations and as Company Secretary, Julia is also responsible for the Company’s corporate and ASX compliance obligations.

Faye Aylward

Global HR Director

Faye Aylward joined Hansen in 2015, bringing experience from South Africa, the UK and Australia in Talent Acquisition and Outsourced HR consulting. With a background in Organisational Psychology and Communication Science, Faye has an extensive experience within the consulting, financial services, retail and software development industries.

As Global HR Director, Faye is responsible for ensuring that global talent acquisition, talent management, learning, organisational development and employee wellness areas are developed and maintained. With people being our most valued asset, this role provides support at every level of our organisation.

Cameron Hunter

COO

COO Cameron Hunter joined the Hansen organisation in 1987. He manages operations across Hansen’s business units and has played a major role in the global growth of the company across the software and IT outsourcing business units.

John May

President Americas

John May, President of Hansen’s Americas region, joined Hansen in 2000. He has over 25 years of leadership experience in a variety of industries and geographic markets, including managing large IT implementations. Prior to Hansen, John served as the CEO of Baseball Australia, held franchising responsibilities for Jardine Matheson in Australia, Canada and South East Asia and served as the CEO for Australia’s highest profile football club.

Scott Weir

President EMEA

Scott Weir joined Hansen in 2007 as European Director, bringing over 20 years’ experience in the Telecoms, Utilities and Pay-TV industry. Previously, Scott held several senior roles at NTL (now Virgin Media), BBC and Scantrack Healthcare Systems with a focus on project delivery, leadership and operational efficiency.

David Castree

President APAC

David Castree was appointed President, APAC in July 2018. He joined Hansen Technologies in 2009, bringing years of expertise as a Programme Manager and IT consulting specialist with a deep understanding of client, people, project, and financial management. David is responsible for Hansen’s clients, sales, and solutions in the APAC region.

Darren Meade

Head of Delivery

With more than 30 years at Hansen, Darren Meade oversees the technical and architectural direction of the organisation’s software solutions. He has a long history delivering customer care and billing solutions and has a programming background in multiple languages and operating systems. Prior to joining Hansen, Darren managed large development and project delivery teams for organisations such as Telstra and Worldcom.

Glenn Gibson

CMO

Glenn Gibson became Hansen’s CMO in December 2019 and was previously VP of Marketing for Sigma Systems (acquired by Hansen in May 2019).

Glenn brings over 20 years of combined marketing experience within the communications, technology and software industries. Before joining Sigma Systems, he was Head of Marketing at Juniper Networks Canada. He has also held various roles at Sprint and Amdocs.

Guy Tennant

CTO

Guy Tennant joined Hansen in 2013, having spent the bulk of his career managing product development for Digital Service Providers: TV broadcasters; ISPs; Telcos, and content owners. His focus is on managing Hansen’s product portfolio and associated roadmaps and R&D budgets. Guy has held various technology leadership positions while living in London, Amsterdam and Johannesburg, and has experience working for software vendors (Irdeto, Entriq), as well as operators (Sky Group and Naspers Multichoice).

Matt Gurrie

CIO

Matt joined Hansen in 2016, bringing experience from a number of large complex technology organisations with experience in integration and divesture of acquisitions. Prior to Hansen, Matt worked at Orica, Australia Post, Officeworks and Coles, managing various multi-disciplined technology and business transformation projects.

As Chief Information Officer, Matt is responsible for ensuring that the global IT organisation provides the support, architectural governance and optimisation of the technologies across the globe to ensure the best global platforms are delivered for Hansen’s customers and employees.

Bobby Slaton

Director Global Strategic Sales

Bobby joined Hansen in August 2020, bringing over twenty years of experience in the utilities, energy and telecommunications industries. Bobby brings a wealth of expertise in sales leadership, customer engagement, business transformation and organizational change management. Prior to joining Hansen, Bobby held an array of senior leadership roles at Ventyx, Sumtotal Systems and 4Tell Solutions.

As Director of Strategic Sales, Bobby will be responsible for engaging with energy, utilities and telecommunications service providers globally, helping them solve their most pressing business and operational challenges, and ensuring Hansen is well-positioned to continue its rapid growth worldwide.

David Trude

Chairman

David Trude has extensive experience in a variety of financial services roles within the banking and securities industries. He holds a degree in commerce from the University of Queensland and is a member of many professional associations including the Stockbrokers and Financial Advisers Association of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also Chairman of Baillieu Holst Limited, a Director of CHI-X Australia Limited and Director of ASX listed Acorn Capital Investment Fund and MSL Solutions Limited.

Bruce Adams

Non-Executive Director

Bruce Adams has over 25 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer. He has practised extensively in the areas of information technology law and mergers and acquisitions and has considerable experience advising listed public companies. In early 2002, after more than 10 years as a partner of two Melbourne law firms, Bruce took up a position as general counsel of Club Assist Corporation Pty Ltd, a worldwide motoring club service provider. Bruce holds degrees in Law and Economics from Monash University.

David Osborne

Non-Executive Director

David Osborne is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, with over 50 years of financial management, taxation and accounting experience in public practice. David’s experience includes having been the Audit Partner of his accounting practice and a Registered Company Auditor for over 25 years. He also has experience in the various aspects of risk management. David has a long-standing association with Hansen, having been a Board member for some years prior to the Company’s listing on the ASX in June 2000.

David Howell

Non-Executive Director

David Howell is an accomplished executive and board director across a range of industries including financial services, retail, oil marketing and social media. Notably, David led the revitalisation and strong growth of a private equity owned Australian commercial cards business (including Motorpass) leading to a successful sale to WEX Inc. As General Manager, Financial Services at Coles Myer, he substantially influenced debit and credit card reform in the Australian payments industry. David is also Chairman of Littlepay, an Australian Fintech and Board Director and Advisor for Tiger Pistol Pty Ltd, a social media advertising technology business.

Jennifer Douglas

Non-Executive Director

Jennifer Douglas is an experienced executive who has worked in the technology and media industries for over 20 years. After starting her career as a lawyer with Allens and Mallesons, she has held key executive roles spanning diverse functions at Sensis and Telstra. Her roles at Telstra included responsibility for its $3 billion fixed voice business, establishment of Telstra’s technology support business Platinum and responsibility for Telstra’s customer strategy and advocacy.

Jennifer is currently a Director of several other boards in the technology, energy and not for profit sectors. She was previously a Director of Telstra security and smart solutions business SNP Monitoring from 2014 to 2016. Jennifer holds degrees in Law and Science from Monash University and a Masters of Law and Masters of Business Administration from Melbourne University. She is also a graduate of AICD.

Don Rankin

Non-Executive Director

Don Rankin joined the Hansen Technologies Board in 2019. He was one of the founding partners of Pitcher Partners and National Chairman of the Pitcher Partners Association for 11 years. Don sits on the board of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was its President for three years.

With over thirty years’ experience advising private and family businesses across a broad range of industries, he specialises particularly in assisting clients in the management, growth and evolution of their business. Don sits on a number of Family Board Advisory Committees.

Julia Chand

Founded in 1971, Hansen is a global provider of software and services, serving the most demanding energy and communications brands around the world.

Our early origins in the management of customer and organisational data has served our customers well over the years. As a pioneer in providing some of the first web-based self-service and browser- based customer care solutions to the market we have continued to hone our software to enable energy and communications service providers to create new products and services, deliver them flawlessly, and engage customers with excellence – powered by the Hansen Create-Deliver-EngageTM suite of software applications.

In the last decade we have grown exponentially through several progressive and strategic acquisitions that have expanded our geographic scope and enhanced the business of our valued customers.

Today we are on the cusp of a new journey with our customers, to help them Power the NextTM age of communications and energy related experiences beyond the essentials of providing basic core energy and connectivity.

ndards & Certifications

As a global organisation supporting customers in various jurisdictions, Hansen is certified to multiple standards in accordance with customer and industry requirements, including:

  • ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification at selected sites for the design, development, delivery and maintenance of billing and energy market connectivity software solutions, data centre hosting and information technology outsourcing. Delivery and IT service teams at sites currently without this certification use the same processes, tools and governance as certified sites. Hansen continues to expand the number of sites that formally meet this certification.
  • ISO27001 Information Security Management System Certification at selected sites, covering the operation and maintenance of Hansen’s Data Centre, the security of the associated communications and the design, development, support and hosting of software solutions with related consultancy. Hansen teams at all company sites fall under the same ISO27001-based security management and governance practice. Hansen continues to expand the number of sites that formally meet this certification.
  • SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 independent audit report for selected Hansen solutions to meet regulatory requirements.
  • ISEA3402 Type 2 and CMMI certification have been achieved at points in time by Hansen to support specific customer projects and product development efforts.
  • ITIL methodology is the basis for the provision of Hansen services.
